The event, which will be visible through a narrow corridor spanning the northern part of Russia, western Mongolia, China and the northern Canadian territory of Nunavut, belongs to a group of eclipse visible from parts of the world that experience midnight sun.
The seven-day trip centres on Novosibirsk in Siberia where the eclipse will be visible across populated areas. And for those who like statistics, the eclipse will have a magnitude of 1.039 and a maximum width of band of 236.9 kilometres.
The trip costs £899 per person based on two people travelling. It includes three nights in Moscow in the three-star Zarya hotel, three nights in Novosibirsk, the internal flight, transfers and an expert briefing prior to the eclipse on August 1. International flights and Russia visas are not included.
