Luxury Rail Cruise Style

For these trips we offer the famous Golden Eagle train which is a luxurious hotel on wheels. Again these are group style trips with fixed start /end dates.  Unpack just the once and settle into your well appointed and comfortable en-suite cabin as you begin this voyage of a lifetime. The train was launched by the Duke of Kent in 2007 and has proved to be a huge success. Passengers travel from all over the world to experience the famous train.

The Luxury Rail Cruise  using the Golden Eagle train comprises of three categories of cabins, which feature state-of-the-art amenities, and all with en-suite facilities. There are Silver and Gold Class and the newly introduced Imperial Suites which are the most spacious cabins you will find on any train in Russia. On the occasions where you travel by day the cabin provides a calm, personal space in which to read, enjoy a DVD or simply watch the landscape unfold through the large picture window and the facility to adjust the air-conditioning for your own personal comfort. All three classes of cabin benefit from an evening turndown service and the services of a cabin attendant who is on call 24 hours a day. The onboard cabin attendants are highly regarded by the guests for their impeccable service. All meals and excursions are included and a generous drinks allowance with meals in all classes. If you would like to swap an excursion along the way this is possible by just asking the tour manager onboard. The dress code is smart casual on board though, as travelling by train however stylish it is, still has space restrictions for storing luggage.

Imperial Suites, Gold and Silver Class Info:

  • Imperial Suites

Imperial Suites are the most spacious cabin on the Golden Eagle, and on any train in Russia. >see Imperial Suites
  • Gold Class

Gold Class cabins are extremely well-proportioned and include a private bathroom with separate power shower cubicle and underfloor heating >see Gold Class
  • Silver Class

Silver Class cabins have been cleverly designed to maximise the available space as cabins convert from a sitting area by day to a comfortable sleeping accommodation at night. Silver Class cabins have private en-suite wet room with a washbasin, toilet and shower. >see Silver Class
