We're always happy when one of our travellers writes a review about their journey, but we loved this one
This is the trip for those with a tight time-frame – but even so you get a rich programme with Mongolia in the middle of your Moscow-Beijing trip… not only Ulaanbaatar (or it wouldn’t be the Three Capitals, of course…) but also out into the Mongolian countryside, and a chance to go horse riding with Mongolian nomads. Plus, of course, the stunning scenery from the comfort of your train cabin! Starting your trip in St. Petersburg gives you the opportunity to see the contrast between the imperial splendour and the soviet simplicity that existed both then and now.
