View our Classic Tran-Siberian Trips.

The Classic style trips are for those clients who like to travel independently but with some support along the way.

The train does not remain with you all the way across, so when you leave at pre-determined stops the next train you will join will be another locomotive entirely. The Trans-Siberian is the name of a trip not a train, so any permutation of trip across Russia or down to China or back is “doing” the Trans-Siberian! We like to think of these trips as help where you may need it off the train but not where you don`t, on board. The dates on which these combinations of stops work we have planned in advance. We’ll willingly look at other versions or customise itineraries, but bear in mind that – with many trains running alternate days and some sections only operating weekly – stopping for less time in most destinations is often unworkable for timetabling reasons. The experience on these trips is as much off the train where you stop, as on-board and the professionals who have worked with us for many years arranging excursion options for the Full On trips can make these breaks as adventurous or sedate as you like!. On-board you will have a 4-berth cabin as standard or if you would like more privacy you can upgrade to the 2-berths cabins.
