Our Trips

Classic Trans Manchurian

Beijing to Moscow

This is the one for the real train fans – straight through from Beijing -Moscow non-stop, via Manchuria… the longest international train journey in the world (although Moscow-Vladivostok, which isn’t international, is still longer!). This is more of a “land cruise on rails”, and although none of the stops are longer than twenty minutes, you still sense the way that Europe slowly ebbs into Asia, rather than an abrupt change that happens at a border.
