Passengers who travel with us will need a visa for Russia. Also depending which trip you have booked for Mongolia and China.

We have a visa department that processes visas for all our UK based passengers.  For clients booking from other countries please check with us the best way to go about obtaining your visas.  We are now booking clients from all points of the globe and are happy to advise you how best to go about obtaining the visas where ever you are based. For all visitors travelling to Russia you will need an invitation to travel to Russia, we obtain this for you and can forward this to you by e-mail so you can process the Russian visa out of the UK. The other two visas do not need invitations. 

We would like you down load and complete the Russian and Mongolian visa forms on line, then print them and forward to us when you lodge your passports to us.

 

Passports must be valid for 6mths after end date of travel.

If you are not a British Passport Holder then you will need to provide evidence that you have resided within the UK for 90 days or more.

You will need to provide us with one of the following:

• Letter of Employment
• Utility Bill (showing the persons name who is applying for the Visa)
• Bank Statement (please delete your Bank Account No. + Sort Code for security purposes)

If you are travelling on an Irish, New Zealand, German, South African or Spanish passport you will need to provide a letter from your employer as well as a utility bill or bank statement

Visa information for China

 

If you are not a British passport holder and are required to have a work permit or entry visa, these must be valid.   For instance if your work permit expires in January 2009, your request for a Chinese Visa must be within this validity.  If you have two passports please submit the passport which shows you are currently in the U.K.   The Embassies will not issue visas into non U.K/EEC passports that do not have an entry stamp to the U.K.

If you live in London and would like to save money by visiting the Embassy yourself we can supply you with details of your itinerary to give to the Embassy with your application.  The telephone number for the Chinese Embassy is 0207 842 0960.  The Consulate Office in Manchester can be contacted on 0161 224 8672.  Also the Consulate Office in Edinburgh is on:  0131 316 4789.

Non British passport holders will need proof of residing in the UK for three months, ie, South African, German, New Zealand or Irish passport holders, for example this could be a utility bill. or a letter confirming employment or a bank statement .

 

China Tourist Visa

Note: Currently US, Israeli and Malaysian passport holders do not require a visa for a stay of less than one month.

All costs are per person.

  

Invitation letter for Russia is included in the cost of the visa, there is no additional fee. There are no additional agency fees to pay for the lodging of the visas at the embassy and the postage fees for returning your passport to a UK address are included. For world wide delivery standard DHL rates will apply.

The fees will be added to you invoice and you will pay by cheque, cash or credit card.

 

How long in advance can I apply for the visas? 

Russian: 90 days or less prior to the departure date from Russia.
Mongolian: 90 days or less prior to arrival to Mongolia 
Chinese:  90 days or less prior to arrival to China.

The processing times are as above for standard services so be aware you will be without your passport for the entire time we are lodging the visas and this could be up to five weeks .
