The Vladivostok-Moscow route appeals to train fans, completists, historians, You don’t pass through Mongolia on this route, but you can (and do!) stop at Lake Baikal, with a choice of options (included) ranging from the active to the sedentary, and even the underwater! Other Siberian destinations (Ekaterinburg, Ulan-Uday) could potentially be added – contact us if you would like a sample price and itinerary for doing so.

Own transport to Vladivostok Station where you will board the Irkutsk bound train.
Travelling through Khabarovsk.
Travelling onwards via Ulan-Uday towards Irkutsk.
Arrival in Irkutsk, transfer to Listvyanka Village on the shore of Lake Baikal.

Free time to explore. Afternoon transfer to the station, where you will board the Moscow bound train.
Onwards into Siberia itself, via Novosibirsk.
Travelling through Kazan and Ekaterinburg.
Arrival in Moscow. We transfer you directly to your hotel.
Today there’s a three hour walking tour, to introduce the city (and its public transport system) and to get your sightseeing off to a flying start. The rest of the day’s your own.
A full day to continue your sightseeing. Own transfer this evening to Leningradsky Station where you will board the St. Petersburg bound train.
We transfer you directly to your hotel. Today one of our St. Petersburg local expert guides will meet you at your hotel in the lobby, for a three hour walking tour. The rest of the day is your own.
The day is free to explore St. Petersburg independently.
You will need to check out of your room by 12 noon. Own transport to the airport or station on departure.
