your secret weapon for getting the inside story....

Wouldn't it be great if you had some friends who lived in all the places you were going to visit,  who would show you round the bits the tourists miss,  and get a real inside-view?

Well, we are the Travel Co who like to say "Da!", so....

.... enter our great team of

RUSSIAN BUDDIES!

+ get the real local-lowdown

+ see the things the tour-bus groups miss

+ avoid getting lost at the Trolley-Bus Depot

+ give local rip-offs and scams a wide berth

+ go beyond the limitations of your language abilities

+ someone who'll answer all your q's and then some

Basically,  we'll lend you one of our OWN friends locally - in Moscow, Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Vladimir, Suzdal, and even in Ulaanbaatar we have some Mongolian Buddies too.    They're not "guides" - there's no "agenda".  They'll help you find your way around,  get where YOU want to go,  use public transport,  answer all your questions, save you some cash and save you from the tourist scams....

For example.... all around St Petersburg there are beautiful Summer Country Palaces of the former nobility.  The local suburban commuter railway costs only pennies,  but vse napisanno tol'ko po-russky.....  with a Buddy at your side, the language/alphabet problem disappears,  and away you go at your own pace,  to the places YOU want to go.

Buddy assistance is included automatically on all our stops in SIBERIA - Ekaterinburg,  Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude.

To get you started, most of our trips automatically include a half-day's orientation session on arrival with one of our Buddies.

SPECIAL INTEREST?    If you have personal interests you want to follow-up,  our Buddies can usually help.  Getting some tickets for the theatre, the Circus, or for an Ice-Hockey game?  Our Buddies know the best sources.    We've catered for such diverse requests as - helping find family roots;  visiting Tchaikovsky's House; finding the Buddhist Monastery in St Petersburg;  interviewing amateur classical musicians in Irkutsk;  recovering suitcases left on a train by accident (we'd rather not repeat that one....!);  finding Jewish-related sites in Moscow;  tracking down the locations in Bulgakov's "The Master & Margarita".....  so let us know,  we're here to help.
