This is a popular trip - for some good reasons! It combines the two en-route stops you absolutely shouldn’t miss (Mongolia & Lake Baikal), but within a time frame that enables you to fit it into a two week vacation from work (if you’re a victim of such pressures). DAY 01 – Arrival in Beijing

Make your own way to the hotel. Free time to explore one of the world’s fastest growing capital cities.

DAY 02 – Departing Beijing

Own transfer to Beijing Central station where you will board the Ulaanbaatar bound train.

DAY 03 – Arrival in Ulaanbaatar

Transfer to a hotel where you have the opportunity to freshen up and have a light snack before departing for your city tour. Then transfer to Elstei Ger Lodge.

DAY 04 – Elstei Ger Lodge

Free time at Elstei Ger Lodge. Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to partake in optional activities.

DAY 05 – Return to Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast transfer back to Ulaanbaatar, and check into the Bayangol Hotel. Balance of day at leisure in the capital.

DAY 06 – Departing Ulaanbaatar

Day at leisure in the capital before your evening transfer to the station where you will board the Irkutsk bound train.

DAY 07 – On board The Trans-Sib

Midnight border crossing.

DAY 08 – Arrival in Irkutsk

Early morning transfer to Listvyanka Village on shore of Lake Baikal.

DAY 09 – Choose one activity from the list

DAY 11 – On board The Trans-Sib

Onwards via Novosibirsk.

DAY 12 – 13 On board The Trans-Sib

Travelling through Kazan and Ekaterinburg.

DAY 14 – Arrival in Moscow

DAY 15 – End of Trans-Siberian journey
