This is a working train covering 9,000 km, 10 time zones, 16 rivers and some 80 towns and cities - a train that blends locals with tourists, the magical with the mundane and iconic sights with timeless memories.

Our departure dates are guaranteed. That means no eleventh hour call sabotaging your long-held plans, leaving you to accept an alternative date that may be anything but suitable. 

But our departures aren't regimented group affairs either.  You may well be with some of our other passengers but our excursions and activity schedule is all optional.  And those with a fear of being herded on and off coaches with 30 others (believe us, we're with you!) can rest assured.

Perhaps most importantly, we will tell it like it is - warts and all!  We're sure you're not one of them, but there are people whose idea of the Trans-Siberian remains steeped in notions of opulent luxury and champagne quaffing, of a five-star restaurant car and leather panelled cocktail carriage, and of a train from which you can hop on and off as the fancy takes.
